County Wexford has recorded no growth in IDA supported jobs in the county in the past year. It is one of five such counties in the country which also includes Wicklow and Kilkenny. However, Waterford had one of the strongest increases in IDA supported employment last year. Just four companies in Wexford, which got IDA support, announced new jobs last year - also one of the lowest in the country. There has been constant criticism of the IDA for its lack of investment in County Wexford over the years.
