Nominations Open for 2026 Wexford Garda Youth Awards

The Wexford Garda Youth Awards have been launched today.

Nominations are now being sought at Divisional level for this year Awards. 

The awards celebrate outstanding young people aged between 13 and 21, recognising the positive contributions they make in their communities. 

There are 4 categories to select from.

1. Individual Award - Making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live.
2. Group Award - Groups of 2 or more, making a positive contribution to their community, making it a better place to live.
3. Special Achievement Award – Overcome difficult circumstances, defied all the odds, and whose commitment deserves recognition.
4. Community Safety Award - Through a crime prevention or safety initiative / innovation, have made their community a safer place to live.
