Options for possible abortion referendum to be discussed

Six options for a possible referendum on abortion are to be considered by the Oireachtas Committee on the 8th Amendment.

The Committee voted yesterday not to recommend that the 8th Amendment to the Constitution be retained in full. Chair of the Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Peter Boylan says there's plenty of guidance in Europe for possible legislation.
