Over 45,000 less people unemployed in ireland since last year
The rate of uneployment has fallen below 10 percent for the fist time since January 2009. Figures from the CSO show the rate is now at 9.9 per cent The Quarterly National Household survey, shows almost 2 million people are now in work in Ireland. In total, 212,800 people are considered to be unemployed - down over 45,000 on last year. It marks the eleventh successive quarter where the unemployment rate has declined.
