Owners asked to keep a lead on dogs as sheep attacks increase

Dog owners are being reminded to know of the whereabouts of their pets at all times.

Longer nights generally lead to increasing attacks on sheep flocks with devastating consequences. Pat Murray Chairperson of Wexford IFA Sheep Committee has asked owners to tie up their animals at night as the consequences of forgetting could be huge for a farmer.
