Parents are forced into debt over school costs - barnardos

The head of Barnardos says it's a scandal that many parents are being forced into debt because of the rising cost of education.

The charity's annual school costs survey shows that the price of sending children to school has gone up at both primary and secondary level. Fergus Finlay says the pressure to pay for books, uniforms and travel is creating stress for many parents.
