Local authorities issued more than 168-thousand parking tickets during the pandemic.
It generated a total of six-point-six million euro, according to the Irish Independent. Wexford County Council issued 5,602 parking tickets where as only 391 were issued in Carlow. Wicklow, had one of the highest number of tickets in the country with over ten thousand issued.
