People urged to stay indoors during blizzard

People in Leinster and Munster are being warned not to go outside from 4pm tomorrow until midday on Friday when the red weather alert is in place.

The country is expected to grind to a halt with severe disruption to transport and public services. The worst of the blizzard is expected tomorrow afternoon, when Storm Emma moves in from the south meets the polar front.
