ESB Networks is advising customers in Gorey and surrounding areas of planned electricity outages this weekend.
The outages are required to facilitate upgrades to the local 20-kilovolt electricity network, which ESB says will help provide a more resilient network and improve the quality of service for customers.
On Saturday, September 12th, power will be off from 9am until 4pm in areas including Courtown Road, Knockmullen, Meadowgate, Millands, Ramsbrooke and The Paddocks. A number of businesses and services, including Aldi, Amber Springs, An Post, Tesco and the IDA in Gorey, will also be affected.
On Sunday, September 13th, the same hours will apply, with outages affecting Ballycale, Coolnaveagh, Gorey Business Park and Ramstown Business Park.
ESB Networks says customers affected have been notified in advance.
