Plans To Bring Home Nurses To Ease Hospital Crisis

Efforts are to be made to recruit nurses and midwives for the H-S-E when people are home for Christmas. The H-S-E's to hold open recruitment days at the end of the month as part of plans for health service delivery next year. Currently there are at least 1,000 nursing vacancies, which if filled could see around 150 hospital beds opened.
