Protest over pay increments for staff in south east organisations
SIPTU members at three disability organisations in the south east are holding a 'day of action' today. Workers at Ard Aoibhinn Services in Wexford Town, County Wexford Community Workshop Enniscorthy and SOS Services Kilkenny are protesting at HSE headquarters over salary increments. SIPTU Organiser, David Morris, says their members have been badly let down by the refusal of the HSE to pay them what they're owed; "The protest is directed at the HSE's refusal to fund increments, salary increments, for it's staff." he said. "it involves Ard Aoibhinn...CWCW in Enniscorthy, SOS in Kilkenny and the protest is outside the HSE offices in...Kilkenny, the area, main area offices" he added.
