Rape figures

A quarter of the people who contacted the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre last year reported sexual abuse by their partner or spouse. The organisation's Annual Report for 2015 shows that nearly 12 thousand people got in touch with the centre, and nearly half of those contacted it for the first time. The report also finds they're struggling to meet the increasing demand for face to face therapy.
