Wexford athlete Anne Gilshinan is continuing her remarkable record-breaking form ahead of the European Masters Indoor Championships in the coming weeks.
The Slaney Olympic runner, recently named European Masters Middle Distance Athlete of the Year for 2025, has set a series of new records in recent weeks.
At the National Masters in Athlone she set a new Irish W60 record in the 3,000 metres. She then broke the W60 world indoor record for the 1,500 metres at the Scottish Masters Championships.
More recently, at the National Indoor Arena in Abbotstown, she set a new European W60 indoor record in the 800 metres.
Gilshinan is now preparing for the European Masters Championships in Torun, Poland at the end of March.
