Revenue publishes list of wexford tax settlements
Five County Wexford people made tax settlements with the Revenue Commissioners, the latest tax defaulters list shows. The largest settlement was made by tobacconist JJ Whelan, of Upper Mary Street, New Ross, who paid a total of 316-thousand Euro following a Revenue audit. Next on the list was clairevoyant Carole Byrne of Oylegate, who settled for just over 163-thousand Euro. The other settlements pasid by Wexford residents were five and four figure sums. By far the biggest settlement nationwide published yesterday was for just under a million Euro paid by Cork heating and plumbing contractor Barry Murphy.
