Road Fatality In South Kilkenny

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 70's died in a crash in County Kilkenny. The two car collision happened on the N24 near Piltown at around 7.30 yesterday evening. The elderly driver of one of the cars suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other car, who's in his early 30's, received minor injuries.
