Russia banned from international sporting events

The World Anti-Doping Agency has handed Russia a four year ban from all major international sporting events.

It means there will be no official Russian team at next year's Olympics or the 2022 football World Cup, subject to an appeal. But athletes who can prove they weren't part of the doping scandal can compete under a neutral flag.
