44 people are understood to have died in twin bombings in Syria. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says a roadside bomb detonated as a bus passed and a suicide bomber also attacked the Old City of Damascus. A number of people have been injured - some of them are said to be in a serious condition. It comes as the sixth anniversary of the civil war approaches next week.
