Second day of ploughing cancelled after storm ali hits

The second day of the National Ploughing Championships has been cancelled due to Storm Ali.

Organisers met this morning to assess the situation after delaying the start time. It's the first time the event has been cancelled due to weather. It's unclear as of yet whether a third day of the Ploughing will take place on Friday or whether tomorrow's events will go ahead as planned.
