Significant covid outbreak at wexford meat plant

North Wexford meat processing plant Slaney Foods has confirmed 42 positive Covid-19 cases following screening of staff.

In a statement this evening the Clohamon based operation said it is working at a "significantly reduced capacity" as a result of the outbreak. The cases were detected following the testing of staff there last Friday.
