12 thousand cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in Ireland each year. There was a 70 percent increase in the number skin cancers diagnosed between 2005 and 2015. The Irish Cancer Society has launched its annual SunSmart campaign and is warning us to look after our skin even on cloudy days.
