Hundreds of secondary school students from some schools across County Wexford will be unable to attend class today, because of industrial action by teachers.
Two hundred thousand students are affected nationwide. The ASTI, is in a dispute with the Department of Education over supervision and substitution. Minister Richard Bruton has dismissed the row as just one hour a week of extra duties. But Diarmaid de Paor, Deputy General Secretary of the ASTI, says it's a much bigger issue.
