Split opinion on the possibility of being diagnosed with a gaming disorder

The gaming industry has rejected the possibility of someone being diagnosed with a 'gaming disorder'.

The World Health Organisation has included it in a draft for the International Classification of Diseases. The 11th revision of the document is due to be published in the middle of this year. Clinical Psychologist Mark Smyth believes diagnosing someone with such a disorder is unfair.
