Stone Blind State named as South East Radio Local Hero finalist

All this week, South East Radio is meeting its four finalists in Ireland’s New Local Hero competition, celebrating the people and stories making a difference across the local community.

Today, the spotlight is on local music and Wexford rock band Stone Blind State, with Martin Furlong and Michael McDonagh joining Morning Mix to talk about the band’s music, their journey so far and what it means to be named finalists.

Stone Blind State are the second of South East Radio’s four finalists in the competition.

Martin and Michael spoke about the band’s journey, their connection to Wexford and their passion for music, as they look forward to representing South East Radio in Ireland’s New Local Hero competition.
