Trials involving 120-thousand patients, including some taking 21 commonly prescribed pills, found they were all more effective than dummy ones. The researchers say they patients shouldn't shy away from asking their GP for the drugs and that doctors should not be discouraged from complying. UCD professor of psychiatry Patricia Casey says she's not surprised by the latest findings.
