Taghmon Joins Community Services Programme with New Funding Support

Taghmon Integrated Local Development Team CLG will be joining the Community Services Programme (CSP) for the first time, marking a significant step in strengthening community services in the area. The CSP provides funding to local community organisations, supporting essential social, economic, and environmental services, particularly in regions where public and private sector services are limited. This new development in Taghmon follows the recent announcement of additional funding for the CSP, which received a €4m increase as part of the Budget 2026 package, bringing its total allocation for 2026 to €59.4m. The programme aims to address local needs and deliver targeted support to communities, including those facing geographical or social isolation. The CSP also includes an open call for new organisations to apply for funding in early 2026. This initiative supports the creation of full-time positions, with financial contributions towards wages and management costs for eligible organisations. The inclusion of Taghmon in this vital programme highlights the ongoing commitment to enhancing local services in Wexford and ensuring that resources are available where they are needed most.
