Talbot hotel group adds cork hotel to it's portfolio

The Wexford based Talbot Hotel Group has announced the purchase of the Oriel House Hotel in Cork. The group - which is owned by the Pettitt family - already comprises the Talbot Hotel Wexford and Carlow, the Stillorgan Park Hotel in Dublin along with the Midleton Park Hotel which was only purchased by the company last month. The aquisition of the Oriel Hotel means that the future of the hotel and it's 120 staff is secure after a receiver had to be appointed to the Ballincollig property before it's sale.
