Talks Continue To Avert Tomorrows Garda Strike

Rank and File Gardaí say only a 'substantial' pay rise will make them call off tomorrow's strike.

Their representatives have been at the Labour Court overnight trying to reach a last minute deal - but there's little progress so far. The GRA has agreed to at least allow members to vote on any recommendations the court may make. However a 3% pay hike has already been rejected.
