Three people have died in separate road accidents on the country's roads.
A teenage boy was fatally injured when he was hit by a car near Belcamp Park in Coolock, Dublin, at around 9.30 last night. Gardaí say the car involved in the collision failed to stop at the scene but a man in his mid 20's was later arrested in connection with the investigation. Separately Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist lost his life in a crash on the Hartstown road in Dublin last evening. In Co Antrim, a man in his 30's has died following a single vehicle crash in Randalstown. Police say the incident happened just after midnight and a examination of the scene has been carried out.
