Two people brought to Wexford General Hospital following two car collision

Two people have been brought to Wexford General hospital with injuries following a two car collision outside Wexford town.

The incident occurred around 4pm on the road between the Maldron Hotel Roundabout and Ferrycarrig Bridge.Traffic was down to one lane and a number of emergency services are attending the scene. There were significant tailbacks in either direction, and motorists are warned to expect delays while the road is cleared.
