Two thirds of people witnessed sub standard health care - hiqa

Two thirds of people say they've witnessed sub-standard care in our health system.

Of those, a third say they've seen physical or emotional abuse in nursing homes. The results come from a new survey for the health watchdog HIQA which says most people want 'clear accountability' for failings. Pollsters from REDC spoke to over a thousand people about their experiences in the health system over the last five years.
