Uisce Éireann has advised customers in Wexford Town that they may experience reduced water pressure following operational issues caused by a burst water main at the Coolcots Reservoir. Areas affected include Townparks, Whitemill, Ard Carman and the surrounding areas. The utility provider is actively working to restore full water pressure as soon as possible.
Padraig Lyng from Uisce Éireann assured the public that repair work is a top priority, with crews on-site to minimize disruption. "We understand the inconvenience this may cause and thank all affected customers for their patience while our teams carry out necessary repairs," he said.
Customers who are registered as vulnerable will receive direct communications regarding any planned or unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. Those interested in registering can visit the Uisce Éireann website for further details.
Customers can also sign up for real-time updates through the free text service by providing their Eircode and mobile number.
