Up to 50 millimetres of rain forecast for overnight

Heavy rain is expected overnight, with a yellow weather warning due to come into effect at 6pm.

Up to 50 millimetres is forecast to fall - with a chance of flooding in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. Klara Finkele is from Met Eireann and says people should make preparations for the bad weather.
