The Food Safety Authority is warning consumers that meat bought from unapproved outlets may not be safe to eat.
It comes after a number of beef carcases were stolen from a container last week. On Friday Gardai recovered a trailer in Co. Louth which had the hind quarters of 36 carcases taken from it.
