Uisce Éireann is working to restore water supply to Wellingtonbridge and nearby areas after essential upgrade works caused an unplanned disruption. Alternative water supplies have been set up in Rosegarland, Ballyowen, and Rosspile, but customers are advised to boil the water before use. Theres also disruptions today from 8am to 4pm to complete repairs, affecting Wellingtonbridge, Carrig, Bannow, Duncormick, and surrounding areas. After the works are finished, it may take 2-3 hours for normal supply to return, especially for properties on higher ground.
