Uisce Éireann has completed repairs to the burst watermain in Enniscorthy and surrounding areas. Water supply is now restoring to affected customers as the network refills.
Uisce Éireann's Water Operations Manager for Wexford, Padraig Lyng, thanked customers for their patience and understanding while repairs were carried out.
"We would like to thank customers for their patience and cooperation while our crews worked to restore water supply. The repair works have now been completed, and water is returning to the network. We understand the inconvenience this outage caused and greatly appreciate the support shown by the community throughout the disruption."
As water supply returns, some customers may notice temporary discolouration. If this occurs, customers are advised to run the cold kitchen tap until the water runs clear.
