Waterford td slams increasing patient numbers following st senans closure
A Waterford TD has slammed increasing patient numbers and less staff in the psychiatric services in Waterford. Independent John Halligan said a huge number of extra acute patients from Wexford are now coming to Waterford for treatment following the closure of Saint Senans in Enniscorthy. This he said is adding to incidents like the tragedy which occured in the grounds of Saint Otterans Hospital on Friday evening. A 36 year old man Paul cuddihy appeared before Waterford District Court charged with the murder of a patient at the Psychiatric Hospital.
