Wexford communities urged to set up a text alert in their area

Communities are being advised to sign up to a text alert scheme to prevent crime in their areas.

The advice has come from Muintir na Tire who have an open day on the scheme in Ballacolla County Laois this weekend. Wexford Board member of the association Paddy Bryne says its a valuable tool in the prevention of crime if organised properly.
