Wexford County Council's Community Team has officially launched the 2026 edition of its Community Calendar, a key initiative aimed at connecting residents with local services and opportunities. The calendar, which highlights the ongoing work of several local initiatives, including Wexford LCDC, Healthy Wexford, and Sláintecare Healthy Communities, was unveiled in a ceremony attended by local officials. Cathaoirleach Cllr. Joe Sullivan expressed his enthusiasm, noting that the calendar is a great way to showcase the team's work and help communities stay informed about available resources. Carolyne Godkin, Director of Services for the Community, highlighted that this marks the third year of the calendar's success, calling it a "well-established tradition" that celebrates the spirit of Wexford’s communities. Dymphna O'Connor, Head of Community, added that the calendar reflects the expanding role of the Community Section, spotlighting the wide range of supports provided to residents across the county. The 2026 calendar features local photographs alongside important community messages and dates. It will soon be available for free at Municipal District Offices, County Hall, Wexford Public Libraries, and other distribution points across the county.
