Wexford Garda Stations Hit by Staffing Cuts as National Frontline Numbers Fall

The number of frontline Gardaí has dropped by 584 since 2020 and a record 63 Garda stations nationwide now have no dedicated officers.

That's according to the Irish Independent who say this reflects ongoing staffing shortages, particularly in rural areas.

Wexford has been Impacted by Staffing Cuts as Garda numbers have fallen by 2.4% over the past year.

Stations like Blackwater, Campile, and Courtown Harbour have lost their dedicated Gardaí, adding to concerns over reduced frontline policing.
