Wexford IFA appeal for support for tractor drive to Brussels

The President of the IFA is set to drive his tractor from Dublin to Brussels on Monday next 15th Francie Gorman is doing this to highlight the dangers of the Mercusor trade deal with South America, proposed cuts to CAP funding and ever increasing bureaucracy on farmers He will travel through Wexford en route to Rosslare from where he will take the ferry to Dunkirk and join French farmers in a tractorcade to Brussels Chairman of Wexford IFA Tom Doyle is appealing to Wexford members to come out and support Francie Gorman on Monday afternoon He will stop for a break at Enniscorthy Mart around 3pm
