Wexford Properties Bring In Over €1.5 Million for Exchequer

The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) made almost €5 million last year by selling properties linked to criminals, including the record-breaking sale of Daniel Kinahan's former Dublin mansion. A total of 20 properties, including homes in Wexford, Kildare and Dublin were sold, with the Wexford homes alone bringing in €1.68 million. CAB's annual report, set to be presented to Cabinet by Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan, also revealed that assets worth over €12.6 million were frozen in 2024. The bureau's efforts have contributed to returning more than €17 million to the Exchequer, with the majority coming from criminal proceeds.
