Wexford schools will have lowest student teacher ratio ever - d'arcy

New education funding will mean that Wexford will have the lowest student to teacher ratio ever.

That's according to Junior Finance Minister Michael D'Arcy. He says the extra funding for schools in the budget means that Wexford schools will have a student teacher ratio of 26 to 1. He also says that 230 new teachers in special classes and 100 new Special Education teachers will be hired next year.
