Wexford senator raises concerns over maternity services in the region
Wexford Fianna Fáil Senator Jim Walsh has raised concerns over the future of maternity services in County Wexford. It follows a report into the West/North West region which Senator Walsh says shows the HSE is seriously considering downgrading maternity services at three hospitals in the region. He says it would be illogical to conduct a report into just one region and not all of them and is now calling for clarification on whether a report was conducted into the South East Region. Jim Walsh is calling for Wexford's TDs to uncover whether the closure of maternity services is being considered at Wexford General Hospital.
