Wexford sports clubs and communities encouraged to apply for funding

The sports capital fund is opening on the 17th July - providing support to sports clubs and communities to develop sports infrastructure.

The announcement was made by the Minister for Sport, Thomas Byrne. Wexford clubs are being encouraged to register online on www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie New Ross Councillor Michael Sheehan says that the funding this year has increased for both local and regional projects, and is encouraging early applications.
