Wexford supermarket and post office targetted in robbery
A rural supermarket and post office was the target of thieves in an overnight robbery in County Wexford. They smashed thier way into the premises in Ballymurn by disabling the security and alarm systems. Extensive damage was caused to the property in the robbery in which the security system was disabled. A large quantity of cigarettes was stolen in the raid. It's believed the loss incurred and the damage caused will run into five figures. A Garda investigation is continuing.
