Wexford musician Jesse Sludds is set to perform on tonight's Late Late Show, as he competes for the chance to open for Shania Twain later this year.
Sludds, who has roots in country music, made it to the final of a nationwide competition after submitting a video application, encouraged by fans on social media.
Despite his country background, Sludds mixes various genres into his performances.
The public will decide his fate through a text vote, with the winner securing a spot to perform before the country legend.
