The vacancy rate for houses across the country is at its lowest level in history.
The GeoDirectory Residential Buildings Report for Q4 2025 shows just 3.7 per cent of houses are lying empty, down 0.1 per cent from the same period in 2024.
Wexford saw the addition of 930 new residential address points, with 1,143 homes under construction by December.
The county’s residential vacancy rate stood at 2.8%, below the national average.
Over the year, 1,702 property transactions were recorded, with an average price of €314,042.
Wexford also accounted for 1.7% of the state’s derelict buildings.
