Woman dies after being struck by garda car in Donegal

A young woman has died after being struck by a Garda car in County Donegal.

The collision involving a 21-year-old pedestrian happened at about 3.15am on Sunday morning at Ludden, Buncrana. The body has now been removed from the scene to the morgue at Letterkenny University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place tomorrow. The road remains closed at this time for a technical examination.
