Woman found in a car in the sea off courtown harbour

A car was taken from the sea just south of Courtown Harbour at Roney Point yesterday afternoon.

It contained the body of a young woman. The alarm was raised by locals after the roof of a car was spotted in the water. Emergency services attended the scene and removed the car back to the beach where an investigation was launched.
