Work is to resume immediately on the construction of the Enniscorthy bypass
It had been held up due a dispute which was resolved late last night. Residents near the site in Asquinton were initially unhappy with plans set out by the developers. However, after talks brokered by Councillor Kathleen Codd-Nolan, both sides came to an agreement. The site will now contain a 120 metre wall beside the motorway as per the agreement.
